Cincinnati's Tyler Fraser and Eric West won this week's APTA Tour event in Baltimore. They defeated top seeds Guillermo Nunez (NY) and Jose Salazar (CT) in the final. Both Fraser and West are former Platform Tennis League champions.

All levels invited to play in our next indoor pickleball session - 6 weeks of Saturday play at Ronnie Grandison Sports. Capacity for this session is 72 players with one two-hour time slot starting at 2pm. Play is on 12 courts.
Cincinnati's Ellie Halbauer and Jill Jackson won this week's APTA Women's Tour event in Chicago - The Medinah Cup. Halbauer & Jackson were the top seeds and defeated the second seeds Alison Morgan (IL) and Aubrey Banks (IL) in the finals. Halbauer is a former professional tennis player and Jackson played tennis on top 10 NCAA teams at the University of Kentucky. Both have won multiple Platform Tennis League titles. Halbauer in platform tennis and pickleball, Jackson in platform tennis.
Pickleball
594 players participated in the 2024 Spring/Summer league. Play was 24 weeks on 105 courts at ACES Pickleball + Kitchen, Cincinnati Country Club, Glendale Lyceum, Losantiville Country Club, LTC at Lunken and Queen City Racquet Club. 9,983 official games were completed.
The 2024 Spring/Summer league was 20 weeks at Glendale Lyceum. This was the 11th Spring/Summer league and 24th overall.
The Columbus Women's Open (Platform Tennis) is Saturday, October 19. There is a 32-draw APTA National Ranking Tournament (NRT) + a separate event for players with PTI ratings higher than 60. Registration details are on the American Platform Tennis Association's tournament page.
