Wolf v. #3 Medvedev

Cincinnati's J.J. Wolf will face 2019 US Open finalist Daniil Medvedev in Arthur Ashe Stadium today at Noon. Wolf earned the matchup with an upset win over #29 seed Guido Pella in round #1 and a straight set second round victory over Spain's Roberto Carballés Baena. Wolf attended Cincinnati Country Day before playing college tennis at Ohio State. Wolf's father, Jeff Wolf, has participated in local platform tennis events on and off for the past 25 years. He is a former city champion and played on league teams as a pro at Losantiville CC and more recently at Maketwah CC. J.J.'s uncle, Bret Bruder, is an avid Platform Tennis League supporter, playing 380 sets since joining in 2014-15.

McNally v. #16 Mertens

Caty McNally made headlines in last year's Open when she took a set off Serena Williams in the second round. The biggest opportunity of the 18-year-old's career comes today in a matchup with #16 seed Elise Mertens from Belgium. McNally won a thrilling 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 second round over #21 seed Ekaterina Alexandrova to reach the third round. McNally's match is up second on court #11 and will not start before 1:00,
