Dave Connell

Dave Connell, a regular in local tournaments and D1 league play, passed away this year at age 77. Many knew Dave from his participation on the Beckett Ridge teams in the 1980s and 90s. Also, Dave was an APTA National 50+ champion in 1997 with Jack Hogan from Indianapolis.

Success Outside of League

Tyler Fraser headed into APTA Nationals ranked #10 nationally with Alex Bancila. He won the Cleveland Masters National Ranking Tournament with Bancila, reached the semifinals of The Midweseterns with Rob Bakker and won the Hertzel Cup with Hector Rincon. --- Eric Toth and Evan Webeler reached the finals of the Hertzel Cup. --- Wil Lofgren qualified for the APTA Region IV Presidents Cup team and was ranked #21 nationally with Robert Phillips. --- Thaddeus Reed and Doug Jones reached the finals of the Midwesterns 90s. --- Olivia Capannari made the APTA Region IV Presidents Cup team. ---Brad Pierce reached the finals of the Detroit Invitation 90s event with David Pierce.
