11 weeks of play. July 25 to October 3.
Other Ways to Pay:
Doubles, not permanent partners. Weekly round-robin play consisting of one game partnered with each other player on your assigned court. 4 to 6 games per match/court pairing.
Couples and Carpoolers
Couples and two players sharing rides can be placed at the same time and location - unless otherwise indicated. This option is not available for this session.
Start Time Windows
Players indicate time preferences/availability weekly. Start times are scheduled within the indicated rage. Players cannot specify an exact start time for "Early" or "Late" designations. For example: If the range is 5:00 to 6:30, then this means the player will start sometime within that range. No start time options for this session.
Match Lengths
Matches start at a scheduled time and end at the start time of the next group on that court. 1.5 hours is the shortest allocation and 2 hours the longest. Players are committing to the entire scheduled time slot.
Weekly Opt "in or Out?" Process
Emails link to an "In or Out?" form that lets you indicate availability, time needs for the week. Players have until Noon the day before league night to reply. Text reminders are sent to all players who haven't responded the morning of the day before league play.
Formal Play & Scheduling
Court results, standings and pairings points are formally tracked and used to create weekly court pairings. Scheduling is formal with specific time slots & pairings rotations. Schedules are distributed via email and updated on our website. Players can cancel for emergencies and other reasons outlined in "About Our Leagues," but are otherwise expected to show up on time once they have opted "in" for the night.
Off Weeks
There are no off weeks during this session.
No Subs Needed
Our format does not require subs. Simply opt "out" when you know you will be unavailable for the week or contact us as soon as you know you can't make a scheduled time.
Club Members w/ Home Priority
No club members with "home" priority for this session.
Guaranteed Play Option
Players selecting the "anytime" option for their start time will be guaranteed a spot for the week.
2x Play Option
Players can opt to play "2x" for the week. Only one spot is guaranteed, historically about 80% of the extra sessions are granted.
Two Seasons (Multiple Sessions)
There are two half-year Pickleball leagues: Summer and Indoor. Each consists of multiple sessions. There is one unified winner of each half-year league for overall champion, top female and Ironman/woman.
Pairings System
Competitive compatibility emphasized. Variety considered. Most will play with 30+ different players throughout the season. One should expect to be the best on the court 25%, the worst 25% and in the middle 50%. A full description of the pairings process is outlined in "About Our Leagues."
League Procedures & Rules
Procedures and rules are under "About Our Leagues."
