Jaime Kaufman and Mark Haines defeated Nina Levy and Edwin Dario in the finals of our first league Pickleball A/B Tournament. 32 players played group round robins with 8 teams qualifying for elimination play. Winners, finalists and semifinalists won paddles from Xenon and Head. Losantiville Country Club will again be a venue for our second Spring/Summer Pickleball session (South - Mondays). We will extend play there until 10pm this session. Other locations for Spring/Summer league are Cincinnati Country Club, ACES Pickleball + Kitchen and LTC at Lunken for the South League and Glendale Lyceum for North.
Our A/B Pickleball Tournament will be held Friday, May 26. We've reserved 17 indoor courts for the event and can take up to 80 players. There will be 2 hours of round robin group play to qualify for an 8-team elimination tournament. Included is a party with beer and food during the championship rounds - starting at 9pm at ACES Pickleball + Kitchen. In addition to ACES, we will use Ronnie Grandison Sports Academy for round robin play.
Our 23-week Indoor Pickleball league concluded. 2,704 official games were played by 229 players across four sessions. Ronnie Grandison Sports Academy, Elite Athletic Sports Complex and ACES Pickleball + Kitchen all hosted matches. Doug Jones was the overall league champion, Ellie Halbauer was the top female finisher and Mark James was the Ironman (most games played). 2022-23 Indoor Pickleball - Final Standings.
We completed our third week of Spring/Summer platform tennis. The newly resurfaced courts at Glendale Lyceum handled the wet conditions well. Check the updated league standings & court results.
Session #3 of our Indoor Pickleball season concluded. This session was 8 Sundays at ACES Pickleball + Kitchen. Session #4 on Fridays has one week remaining (May 4 at Ronnie Grandison Sports Academy). That will end our first 23-week Indoor Pickleball league. Heading into the final week, 227 players have played 2,663 official games.

The platform tennis resurfacing project at Glendale Lyceum is complete. Courts 1 & 2 passed the first serious test, functioning perfectly during a rainy week #3.
