Week #10: Wise 6-1
Todd Wise won two courts this week and was 6-1 overall. Wise went 4-0 on a court with Rob Hinkle, Scott Vaaler, Mark Williams and Michael Guastaferro and 2-1 with Zach Wilson, Stratos Kranias and Scott Vaaler. Wise earned 36 standings points and is currently 21st in the Spring League standings..

Week #9: Kiker Wins 3
Scott Kiker went 3-0 on a court with Mark Williams, Michael Guastaferro and Scott Vaaler. He is now 8-9 for the Spring season. The court carried a 26 strength of schedule rating. Kiker is 84-93 on courts rated 25 to 29 and this was the third time he has gone undefeated on a court in this range.

Summer League Starts June 10
All levels are invited to participate in our 8th Summer Platform Tennis League. Play is on Thursday nights at Glendale Lyceum and runs eight weeks from June 10 to July 29. Again the league will prioritize competitively compatible pairings and will offer variety, time slot flexibility, guaranteed weekly play and 2x play options.
New Players Can Start This Week
We have two Thursdays remaining in our Spring League with play at Maketewah and Glendale. Those signing up for Summer League are welcome to start play immediately. You will be added to the "In or Out?" list and can opt "In" by Wednesday at Noon if you would like to play this week.
Harrison Rogers went 3-0 on a "5 multiplier" court and 2-2 on a "6 multiplier," scoring 32 total points. Rogers now has a 14.68 average in 14 sessions and is in 7th place in the overall standings. He has a 24-21 won/loss record for the Spring League and a 1,519 pairings rating. His 3-0 win on the court with Josh Greene, Jill Jackson and Mark Williams carried a 26 strength of schedule rating. This was the second time Rogers has gone undefeated on a court rated 25 to 29 (see all-time records by court rating).

Week #7: Zeller Scores 16
Tricia Zeller won a court with Brian Methe, Patty Nash and Nate Peterson. She gained 16 points for the first place finish. Zeller improved her point average to 10.67 in six sessions and is now in 26th place overall and 4th among female participants.

Week #6: Methe Wins Debut
Brian Methe started his 2021 Spring League with victory on a court with Tami Hochwalt, Nate Peterson and Ralph Winterhalter. Methe was 2-1 and earned 16 points.
Jill Jackson went 5-1 for the second straight week. She won all three on a court with Rob Hinkle, Matt Stall and Todd Wise and was 2-1 with Tim Schraffenberger, Wes Goebel and Rob Hinkle. Jackson earned 40 points for the two court victories. Her point average improved to 14.75 in eight sessions played and is currently in ninth place overall.
In addition to Methe and Jackson (2), Josh Greene, Doug Jones, Scott Degerberg and Nate Peterson all won courts this week.
