Week #10: Toth Wins 4, Moves to 3rd

Eric Toth won all four of his sets on a court with Dan Mott, Scott Boster, Wil Lofgren and John Fovel. Toth improved his season record to 15-6 (71.43%) and is now in third place among players playing at least five sessions so far. The league also welcomed newcomer Eric West. West played college tennis at Oklahoma State and is currently an assistant tennis coach at UC. West went 2-1 in his debut. Click link for complete week #10 results or the updated standings.

Session #2 of the current Fall/Winter season starts January 5. Also, we have added Maketewah back to the rotation for the rest of this session and all of session #2. Click for Session #2 details.

City Mixed: PT Leaguers Fraser & Todd Make Finals

Congratulations to Tyler Fraser and partner Brandi Allen for winning the City Mixed Doubles. They defeated Michael Todd and Barb Kelley in the finals. Numerous PT Leaguers participated in the 24-team event that raised $2,500 for Boys Hope Girls Hope. PT Leaguers Scott Kiker, Sheri Frey, Andy Taylor, Todd Wise and Olivia Capannari all got their pictures in the paper for winning various reprieves. Week #9: Lonergan 8-0, Montgomery 4-0

Lee Lonergan went undefeated on two 5-player courts. Dave Montgomery went undefeated on his court with Ryan English, Richard Canelas, Cory Ingle and Dave Necessary. Matt Allare won all three with Doug Jones, Wil Lofgren and Eric Toth. Click for complete week #9 results. The standings will be updated Monday.

Week #8: Kooris Improves to 8th With 3-0 Night

Bob Kooris went 3-0 on his court with Todd Minniear, Jamie Jamison and Aleksas Juskys. He improved to 19-9 (67.86%) for the session and is currently in 8th place overall. Other players going undefeated on courts were: Tyler Fraser (2), Doug Jones, Greg Carr, Matt Allare, Lee Lonergan and Jonah Ebenhoeh.
