Dave Compaan made his 2019 Summer League debut, winning his upper level court with Ben Keating, Olivia Capannari and Todd Wise. The 20 points puts him in a tie for second place in the early season standings. Others winning courts this week were: Wil Lofgren, John Van Lokeren, Todd Wise, Lawre Bonekemper and Marcelo Pretti.

Todd Ward played twice, winning one court outright and tying for first on the other. Ward scored 30 points for the week and has a season average of 15.0 points per court played. Others winning courts this week were: Wil Lofgren, Doug Jones, Scott Parella, Todd Wise, Mark Russell and Kurt Endebrock.  Brian Faig earned 24 points for his first place finish on a court with Wil Lofgren, Doug Jones, Tony Teufel and John Van Lokeren to take the early lead in the Summer PT League standings. Other court winners were: Ben Keating (2), Scott McGregor (2), Matt Walker, Scott Kiker and Mark Williams. Participating in the league for the first time were: Ron Johnson, Mark Russell, Rob Martin, Scott Parella and Michael Guastaferro.  A well executed "drop & flick" combination by the Heil brothers (Columbus) during last week's Toronto APTA tournament. Brian & Eric Heil won the event, defeating Chris Chiu and Jordan Keen 1-6, 6-3, 7-5 in the final. For more, click Canadian Open. 45 of 45 spots are filled for Summer PT League.
