Week #4: Kiker Wins 2nd, Wise Wins 2, Necessary Scores 38

Scott Kiker won his court for the second time this season to maintain his 20.0 average. Todd Wise played two sessions, winning his court outright both times. Dave Necessary scored 38 points in two sessions, improving his average to 16.80 which is good for 6th place overall. Luke White made his Summer Platform Tennis League debut and won his upper level court. Others winning courts outright were: Doug Jones, Bill Markovits and Jack Dowling. Summer Platform Tennis League play continued with 41 players participating at Kenwood Country Club and Glendale Lyceum this week. Tyler Fraser won his upper level court for the third week. He retained first place in the standings with a 24.00 point average. Other players winning courts outright were: Heidi Shannon, Ron Fraser, Doug Jones, Mark Cepela, Ken Rieser, Scott Kiker, Sandra Christ, Wil Lofgren and Lawrence Gamblin. Week #2: Rainy Week, T. Fraser Leads Standings

Play went on despite rain on both Tuesday and Thursday this week. In all, nine courts completed play. Tyler Fraser obtained 24 points for the second straight week and remains in first place with 48 total points and a 24.00 average. Other players winning courts outright were: Dirk Schneider, Doug Jones, Scott McIntosh, Scott Vaaler, Kyle Wilkins, Jennifer Dickey and Todd Wise. Summer Platform Tennis League Kicks Off

The Summer Platform Tennis League began with nine courts of play at Glendale Lyceum and Kenwood Country Club. The league welcomed eight newcomers: Jennifer Dickey, Ron Fraser, Sandy Kuznof, Lawre Bonekemper, Duy Vu, Andrew Jerrell, Lynn Larson and Sheri Frey. Tyler Fraser took the early lead in the standings by winning his upper level court outright. Others winning individual courts outright were: Scott McIntosh, Sandy Kuznof, Todd Minniear, Greg Carr, Bill Markovits and Ron Johnston.
