Platform Tennis League's 7th Annual Spring/Summer league starts earlier this year. The "Spring League" will be session #1 of the season and run from March 5 to May 21. The "Summer League" is session #2 and runs from May 28 to August 13. Each session is 12 weeks and play is on Thursday nights at Glendale Lyceum.
Week #19: Evan Webeler went 6-0 on two courts this week and solidified his #2 overall position behind Eric Toth in the standings. Webeler, 57-21 (73.1%) with a 2,481 point total, trails leader Toth by 430 points heading into next Thursday's final night of play. Others going undefeated on courts were: Brad Pierce, Brett DeCurtins, Kevin Taylor, Jim Hochwalt, Mike Haehnle and Doug Ucci. Click for court results or updated standings. Competition Level Leaders:Heading into the final week, several of the competition level champions are yet to be decided. Listed are the top 5 from each level among players with at least 18 sets played (24 total sets are needed to qualify).
Week #18: Pat Gilligan went undefeated on this week's highest rated court with Brett DeCurtins, John Fovel and Ben Keating. Gilligan is 16-12 for the year and his 1,907 points is good for sixth place among qualified players (24 sets). Platform tennis players of all levels are invited to play in our 7th Spring/Summer League. Session #1 starts Thursday, March 5 and runs 12 weeks through May 21.

The 2020 Hertzel Cup "City Open Championships" will be Saturday, February 29. The tournament always fills up, so enter ASAP if you intend to play. It is the most fun single day of platform tennis in Cincinnati each year.
