68 of 72 spots are filled for Platform Tennis League Fall/Winter Session #1. If we get to 72 players today, we will look to add courts. Otherwise, 72 will be a hard cutoff.
Wil Lofgren and Ralph Winterhalter won the 2019 Summer A/B Tournament. They finished first in their round robin group winning 25 of 36 games. They defeated Jeff Hiatt and Mike Haehnle 6-3 in the semifinals and Lawre Bonekemper and Logan Coker in the finals. Todd Wise and Scott McGregor also won a round robin group and made the semifinals. The Winter League's Session #1 registration deadline is Sunday. 47 players are registered. Capacity is 72. Play starts October 3.  Evan Webeler won two courts to make a tight race for the league championship even tighter. First, Webeler won his court with Wil Lofgren, Ben Woods, Ron Johnson and Harrison Rogers at 6:30. Lofgren scored 18 points for a second place court finish. This left him needing a third place or lower finish from leader Doug Jones in the 8:3o time slot. Webeler won the 8:30 court. Jones finished in a three-way tie for second and scored 12 points. Below is the final order of finish (qualifiers w/ 6+ sessions):
