Brockhoff was undefeated on his court with Bobby Deye, Richard Canelas, Colin Warren and Mike Herrel. Webeler Tries First New Paddle in 9 Years Evan Webeler used a new paddle for the first time in nine years, switching from his 395g 2007 Wilson (K) Blade (still with the original grip) to a much lighter 370g Wilson Blade Smart. Unfortunately, Webeler's new paddle was not nearly as successful as Brockhoff's new hip. He went 0-3 on a court with Rob Bakker, Doug Jones and Eric Toth. In case Webeler wants to switch back, that old 2007 Wilson K thing can still be purchased new online. Met Mixed Doubles Champion Wil Lofgren Goes 7-0 Former Cincinnati Met mixed doubles champ (and 2x men's singles winner) Wil Lofgren went 7-0 on his two two courts. Lofgren improved his season record to 37-20 (64.91%) and is now in 7th place overall. In addition to Brockhoff and Lofgren, Doug Jones, John Fovel, Greg Carr and Kevin Howe all went undefeated on courts. The league welcomed newcomers George and Kate Molinsky.

Rex Cabrera went 4-0 on his court with Patrick Herrel, Scott Kiker, Richard Canelas and Pete Robinson. Cabrera improved to 22-21 (51.16%) for the season. Other players going undefeated on courts were: Doug Jones, Doug Ucci, Greg Carr & Tim Traut.
The Platform Tennis League welcomed five new players this week: Hal Theobald, Julie Jordan, Mark Williams, Andrew Berger & Randy Roeding. Also, back for Session #2 and playing for the first time this year were: Bob Spencer, Pete Robinson and Kevin Howe.
