Webeler Tries First New Paddle in 9 Years Evan Webeler used a new paddle for the first time in nine years, switching from his 395g 2007 Wilson (K) Blade (still with the original grip) to a much lighter 370g Wilson Blade Smart. Unfortunately, Webeler's new paddle was not nearly as successful as Brockhoff's new hip. He went 0-3 on a court with Rob Bakker, Doug Jones and Eric Toth. In case Webeler wants to switch back, that old 2007 Wilson K thing can still be purchased new online. Met Mixed Doubles Champion Wil Lofgren Goes 7-0 Former Cincinnati Met mixed doubles champ (and 2x men's singles winner) Wil Lofgren went 7-0 on his two two courts. Lofgren improved his season record to 37-20 (64.91%) and is now in 7th place overall. In addition to Brockhoff and Lofgren, Doug Jones, John Fovel, Greg Carr and Kevin Howe all went undefeated on courts. The league welcomed newcomers George and Kate Molinsky.
