10-Point SOS Ratings
The 2019-20 Fall/Winter League will use a 10-point ratings system to determine court/schedule strength. The ratings are used in conjunction with win/loss percentage to determine the league standings. Historic point totals are used to create 5 competition levels. Competition levels and ratings do not dictate weekly court pairings. Court pairings are fluid and change from week-to-week based on the standings. A formula, which weights the season starting point at 80%, is used to mitigate fluctuations. Players up to 20 spots above and below you in the current "pairings points" system are most likely to be on your court. If you go 0-3, your next week's 40-player range will be slightly different than if you had gone 3-0. Click ratings, competition levels and pairings for more info,
