Flight One: Todd Makes Move in Standings with 6-0 Night
Michael Todd improved his record to 17-8 (68%) with a 6-0 night. He won all three on his 6:00 court with Dan Mott, Rex Cabrera and guest Bob Stratton (Atlanta). In his 8:00 session, he won a tiebreaker and a couple of 6-4 sets with Fabian Schmahl, Thorsten Knobloch and Gene Kennedy. Stratton, in town from Atlanta, made his league debut going 3-4 in two sessions. Pete Tarnowski also played for the first time this season. He was also 3-4 in two sessions. Doug Jones, 7-0, and Eric Toth, 3-0, were undefeated for the night. Click for full Flight One results.
Flight Two: Rudell, Turner, Herrel All 3-0
Barry Rudell, Chuck Turner and Mike Herrel each went undefeated for the evening. Marc Pretorius made his season debut going 2-1 on a court with Steve Rafalo, Kyle Wilkins and Scott Vaaler. Andy Taylor also made his PT League debut, going 1-2 on his court. Click for full Flight Two results.
