Flight One: Tennis Hall of Famers ParticipateA pair of Cincinnati Tennis Hall of Fame members made their Platform Tennis League debuts Thursday. Heather Prop, a 5-time Cincinnati Met tennis singles champ and former #1 ranked APTA national platform tennis player (w/ Lynne Schneebeck) went 1-2 on a court with Rex Cabrera, Evan Webeler and Vince Prop. Jeff Wolf, a 26-time Cincinnati Met tennis title winner, 6 singles, 15 doubles, 5 mixed, went 1-2 on his court with Evan Webeler, Doug Jones and Thorsten Knobloch. Doug Jones 6-0, Brett Decurtins 3-0 and Gene Kennedy 3-0, were undefeated for the night. Click for full flight one results. Flight Two: Kanter Climbs to Top, Palmer ReturnsJeremy Kanter took the lead in the flight two standings (players likely to qualify) by going 3-0 on a court with Ben Keating, Kyle Wilkins and Greg Carr. Kanter is now 23-13, 63.89%. Kanter has participated in 11 sessions, including one in flight one, and needs two more to qualify.
