Flight One: Standings Tighten With Just 4 Weeks to PlaySeveral tight races developed as 15 flight one sets were contested. Scott Triplett maintained his #4 spot (players with a chance to qualify), but is now just 0.42% ahead of Michael Todd after a 4-3 evening. Patrick Shiels went 2-1 and is in sixth, but is less than two percentage points from fourth at 66.67%. Doug Jones inched 0.77% ahead of Rob Bakker for the top spot with a 7-0 night. Bakker needs to play 7 of the 8 remaining sessions to qualify, which most likely not happen since next Thursday is President's Cup day at the APTA Nationals. Eric Toth went 3-1 to remain comfortably in third place with a 14.44% lead over fourth. Click for full flight one results. Flight Two: Newcomer Van Lokeren Makes MoveJohn Van Lokeren went 3-0 to move within 0.76% of flight two leader Jeremy Kanter. Van Lokeren, who joined the league after the halfway point of the season, will have to play a few double sessions to qualify (needs 7 to reach 13). Kanter needs just one more as he has played 11 in flight two and one in flight one. Kyle Wilkins went 3-0 and Mike Herrel went 4-0 to improve their positions as well. Herrel is just 1.99% behind Kanter and has qualified with 14 total sessions. Wilkins qualified 14 weeks ago - he as now played a record 34 total sessions. Click for flight two results.
