Flight 1: Jones 6-0, 5-man court plays all tiebreakers
Doug Jones and Lee Lonergan came back from a 2-4 deficit against Mike Lint and Joe Voss to preserve a 6-0 night for Jones. Lint and Voss were making their season debuts. In the earlier session, Jones went 3-0 with Ron Visscher, Evan Webeler and Dale Dobnicker. Top Louisville platform tennis player Scott Triplett made the two-hour trip count by going 5-2 for the night. He went 2-1 in his 6:00 matches on a tough court featuring Jay Dollries and two former city champs - Eric Toth and Brian Brockhoff. Triplett capped his night by surviving a bunch of tiebreakers on a 5-man court. All of the sets on the court with Triplett, Jasen Hansen, Gene Kennedy, Scott Boster and Brian Mitchell went the distance. Click for full results.
Flight 2: McClorey still on top, Fovel goes 6-1
Kevin McClorey went 3-1 on his 5-man court to retain the top spot in Flight Two - he is now tied with Brett Decurtins at 6-1. John Fovel went 6-1 while playing two times at Losantiville. Click for full results.
