Flight One: Busy Night Interrupted by Light MalfunctionA busy night in flight one was interrupted by a blown fuse box at Glendale. Despite the malfunction three courts were able to complete play & one managed partial results. Doug Jones remained unbeaten for the season, going 2-0 on a court with Eric Toth, Scott Triplett and Evan Webeler. Dating back to last year, Jones has now won a total of 50 consecutive sets in the league (35 in flight one). The streak will be tested next week as flight leaders will square off against each other. Evan Webeler played two sessions and went 4-1 for the night. Scott Boster, Vince Prop, Brad Pierce, Dan Mott and Thorsten Knobloch also had winning records for the evening. Every fifth week, I try to group as many people as possible based off current positions in the standings. Please try to be as flexible as possible with your time slot requests, as this will aid my efforts.
