Week #20: Top 5 Battle for Title

Luke White held off a late season rally by Doug Jones to win his first Platform Tennis League title. The court, which featured the top 5 players in the league standings, saw everyone go 2-2 for the night. Entering the night, White needed to either win two sets or have Jones lose two sets to clinch the title. With White starting 0-2 and Jones starting 2-1, it came down to one final set. White (with Evan Webeler) came back from 5-2 down against Jones & Matt Allare to win in a tiebreaker. For good measure, White won the last set with Allare against Eric Toth and Webeler.
