Week #5: Team #7 (Shiels) Retains Top Spot With Tie

Teams: Team #7 (Shiels) remained undefeated for the season by tying Team #6 (Gilligan) 22 to 22. Patrick Shiels (Team #7) and Jim Stutz (Team #6) each won all four of their sets on five-player courts to lead their teams. Individuals: Participation levels remained high, as again play occurred on 20 of our 24 courts. In addition to Shiels and Stutz, other players who went undefeated on courts were: Jim Heldman (4-0), Steve Rafalo (4-0), Bill Boughton (4-0), Patrick Mueller (4-0), Pat Gilligan (3-0), Doug Jones (3-0), Ralph Shine (3-0), Michael Todd (3-0) and Porter Castleberry (3-0).
