Scott McIntosh and Larry Newman each won 4 sets and Lee Workum contributed 6 wins over two sessions to lead Team #4 (McIntosh) to a new record weekly point total. Their team scored 27 total points and defeated Team #6 (Gilligan) 27 to 22. Team #4 (McIntosh) is now tied with Team #2 (Palmenter) and Team #3 (English) for first place. All three teams are 5-2. Individual Results: Rob Bakker won all four of his sets on a 5-player court to move up to second place in the standings. Doug Jones lost for the first time this season, but remains in first place at 19-1. Martin Bruemmer, Evan Webeler, Scott McIntosh, Robin Carr, Mike Herrel and Larry Newman all went undefeated on a court. Click for current individual standings. Participation: Again, the league set a new participation high as matches were played on 22 of our 24 courts. 85 different players participated and 90 official sets were completed. Click for complete week #7 individual court results. The league welcomed Alex Harrison and DeWitt Cook. Cook is an experienced league player while Harrison is new to the game. Harrison played college tennis at the University of Puget Sound (D-III). Each went 1-2 on 4-player courts.
