Update: Our first Pickleball league started April 18, 2022. In ten months, we've held three Spring/Summer sessions and four Indoor sessions. 411 different players have participated  so far. Below are some breakdowns:

Players By Playing Level

Our league uses a proprietary algorithm that factors in results to create optimal "pairings" numbers based on a 4,000 point scale. Our more general "SOS" or Strength of Schedule number could be considered a playing level - that uses ratings 1 to 10. A loose conversion to the broadly used self-rating system would be 1 & 2 = below 3.0, 3 & 4 = 3.0, 5 & 6 = 3.5, 7 & 8 = 4.0, 9 = 4.5, 10 = 5.0. Here is a breakdown by playing level:

• Self-Rating Below 3.0: 130 players
  • SOS Rating 1 = 58 players
  • SOS Rating 2 = 72 players
• Self-Rating 3.0: 116 players
  • SOS Rating 3 = 46 players
  • SOS Rating 4 = 70 players
• Self-Rating 3.5: 97 players
  • SOS Rating 5 = 60 players
  • SOS Rating 6 = 37 players
• Self-Rating 4.0: 56 players
  • SOS Rating 7: 36 players
  • SOS Rating 8: 20 players
• Self-Rating 4.5+: 12 players
