Platform Tennis League - 2015 Regular Season Recap

Flight One: Top Five - Jones, Shiels, Pierce, Webeler, Visscher

Doug Jones finished first among qualified participants. He won the regular season league for the second season in a row, going 62-6 (91.18%) in his flight one matches. To qualify, participants needed to play 13 total sessions and at least 7 within the flight. Below are the top five finishers:

Mike Herrel came in first among season-long flight two players. To qualify, participants needed to play at least 13 total sessions or 7 total sessions if they joined after mid-season. Only players who did not move up to flight one at mid-season were eligible. Below were the top five finishers:

Participation: 88 Total Players Averaging 10.2 Sessions Each 

The Platform Tennis League expanded this season to include multiple sites making room for more players. This year, participation was up from 54 players to 88. Individual sessions participated in equaled 898 for an average of 10.2 per participant. 737 official sets were played and over 1,000 total. Kyle Wilkins won the "Ironman" award for participating in the most sessions - 40.
